Batley Pepper Gray owned by Mr Richard Bedford and shown by Robert Bedford was crowned the 2024 Shire Horse of the Year Champion for the second year running. This super horse is by Toc Hill Sir George out of Batley Alison Gray and bred by Mr A J Smith.
In a very competitive line up of Shires, at only four years old this beautiful filly stood out from the crowd to catch the judge's eye.
Congratulations to all exhibitors at the Horse of the Year Show and grateful thanks to all those who entered the qualifiiers over the summer months.
