Blists Hill Victorian Town has recently joined the Shire Horse Society's Approved Centre list. They will be celebrating the long Bank Holiday weekend in early May with a step back in time to see how heavy horses were the backbone of rural life. You can see harnessing demonstrations, horse-mane plaiting and traditional vehicles being pulled.

Shire Horse Society members gain complimentary admission on one visit per year at Blists Hill Victorian Town.
