The family of Mr Brian Dulieu have informed the Shire Horse Society of the sad passing of their beloved Father on 22nd August 2024.
A life member of the Society, Mr Dulieu bred Shire horses under the prefix ' Bower Heath' and sadly leaves behind his beloved horses to which he dedicated most of his life, a passion that was ignited during his evacuation as a child to a farm where he first spent time around Shire horses.
He purchased his first Shire, a tiny bay mare called Maggie from a cattle auction and went on to breed many wonderful prize winning horses over the years, selling them all over the world.
He was extremely proud of his achievements and his beautiful horses and loved showing them under his own Bower Heath prefix.
Mr Dulieu's family will be holding a celebration of life at Bower Heath Farm, Harpenden, Herts, AL5 5DZ on the 19th September at 11am.
Please contact Tom Dulieu either via facebook or by telephoning Bower Heath Farm to let them know you will be attending.
The Shire Horse Society sends its deepest condolences to Mr Dulieu's family and friends at this sad time.
