Shire Horse Society Youth Council
The Shire Horse Society Youth Council was relaunched on Saturday, 28th January 2023 as a voice for our younger Shire Horse Society members.
The Youth Council will have a committee of 10 aged between 13 to 18 with annual elections and will provide a platform for Society Junior Members to put forward their ideas for improvements, new policies and what they want from the Society going forward.
It is intended that the Youth Council will meet by zoom approximately four times a year, chaired by Nathan Turner with at least one face to face meeting per year. Meetings will be overseen by an approved Senior Councillor / Mentor. The Youth Council Chairman will be invited to attend periodic full Council meetings to report on the activities, requests of the Youth Council.
The Inaugural Committee comprises: Admin Miss Eleanor-Mae Daniels, Miss Charlie Green, Mr Nathan Turner - Chair, Mr Thomas Froggatt, Izzy Collins, and Kayden Barnett.
