The first load of sand for the arena arrived shortly after 2pm, only another twenty-four to go! Did you know it takes 700 tonnes of material to make up the arena surface and this year the arena is 70m long?
The arena fencing is finished and the grandstand is in place in its new location - perfect for uninterrupted viewing of the ring, both during the day and for the Saturday Night Spectacular.
The National Shire Horse Show will be held 7th to 9th March 2025 at Bingley Hall, Stafford Showground, ST18 0BD.
