With the end of the year fast approaching it is time to think forward to the 2025 Council elections. All members of the Shire Horse Society can stand for Council and those wishing to stand are invited to submit their application together with photograph and brief CV of no more than one hundred words.

Currently three meetings per year are held and attendence is required at all of them.

Please be mindful that the information provided by candidates will be printed in the Annual Report & Accounts and sent with the ballot paper to every member to vote for twelve members.

For the avoidance of doubt, any new applicants must be proposed and seconded by Shire Horse Society members.

All applications including those retiring from Council in 2025 should be sent via email to info@shire-horse.org.uk prior to 11th November 2024.
