The Society is extremely sorry to learn of the passing of one of its members, Mr Frank Stainthorpe. Breeding many Shire horses over a number of years under the prefix 'Espsyke' Mr Stainthorpe was a Life Member of the Shire Horse Society.

Mr Stainthorpe's family have asked us to inform those who knew Frank that his funeral will be held on Wednesday 22nd May at Christ Church Ugthorpe, Whitby at 11a.m. Family flowers only.

The Shire Horse Society sends Mr Stainthorpe's family its sincere condolences at such a sad time.
