The Shire Horse Society is extremely proud and honoured to be able to announce that His Majesty King Charles III has been confirmed as its new Patron.

The news arrived this morning and follows a review of over 1000 Patronages of The late Queen, The former Prince of Wales and The former Duchess of Cornwall.  It is fantastic news that the Shire Horse Society will continue its long tradition of having the reigning Monarch as its Patron.

 Victoria Clayton, Chief Executive of the Shire Horse Society said, " this is an incredibly proud day for the Society, and we send our best wishes to His Majesty King Charles in his recovery."
