If visiting Ruskington Stud the mare must be EVA blood tested & CEM swabbed, with up-to-date flu & tetanus jabs, and worming. The auction lot includes two weeks livery for the mare at stud. Scans etc to be covered by the owner of the mare.

If opting for AI, the auction lot we will include semen, the first fee for collection and postage. If a second lot of semen is needed because the mare didn’t take, the owner of the mare needs to pay collection and postage.

Bidding is now open, bidding will close at 5pm on Sunday 10^th March 2024. The winning bid will be contacted after this and once payment is received the Shire Horse Society will pass the contact details of the winning bidder on to the stud.

The sale is final, there are no exchanges, and no refunds.
