Following the SPARKS breeders seminars and the feedback received, the Training and Education Committee, on behalf of the Society is delighted to offer a day at Twemlows Stud Farm alongside its neighbouring enterprise Stallion AI services.

Running on Monday 20th March to take advantage before the stud season gets into full swing, the day will feature lectures on AI, comprise stud tours, semen collection demonstrations and a genetics tour. The full itinerary is shown below:-

09.30am – Arrival, registration and coffee

10.00am – 10.30am – Twemlows Stud Farm Lecture on AI

10.30am – 11.30am – Stallion AI Services Lecture

11.30am – 12noon – Twemlows Stud Farm tour

12.30pm – 1.30pm – Lunch

1.30pm – 2pm – Semen Collection Demonstration

2.30pm – 3pm - Stallion AI Services and Gemini Genetics Tour

3pm – 3.30pm – Coffee

3.30pm – 4pm – New Technologies lecture

4pm – Questions and Finish

The day is supplemented by the Society for SHS members at a charge of £10 per person to go towards refreshments and lunch.

Non-members attendance fee is £35. The venue can accommodate up to 100 people and we hope that many of you will be able to join in for the day.
