The Society is proud to launch an initiative brought to us by Alderley and Walton Shires in conjunction with Helen Preece, Head Horsewoman at Robinsons Brewery, Stockport.

Our FREE to enter competition will give our supporters the chance to judge horses to win cash prizes with a prize fund of £850 and other prizes that have been kindly donated to support this new, fun venture.

Below are two sets of photographs, one for foals and one for fillies. The photographs on each are labelled up A, B, X and Y. Take part by testing your judging skills against those of our master judges to be in with a chance of winning the prizes! All you need to do is rank the four animals on each set of pictures (with the first being the one you rate the highest),

Rosettes are to be awarded down to 6th place.

Please place the animals in both sets of photos, and send your entry to the office using info@shire-horse.org.uk with the subject heading ‘STOCK JUDGING 2021.’

Competition will run until Friday 19th February 2021. The winners will be announced on Friday 26th February 2021. It is open to members and non-members and is split into three age groups as below:-

10 years and under

11 to 16 years

17 years and over

Please specify your name and age on your entry.
