It is with regret that following the announcement last night by the PM, the Stallion Approvals are cancelled.

All stallion and colt owners who had booked in will be contacted by the office today with the full update. However for summary and clarity for all members;

1. Stallions aged 5 years or over who were due their second and full licensing inspection will be granted an additional year on their licence.  They will be inspected in January 2022.
2. Colts aged 2 years old or stallions aged 3 or over who have not yet had their first inspection will remain unlicenced.  If it is possible to undertake licensing for these animals later in the year, it will be arranged.  However, for the current time, no firms plans are decided.  Colt and Stallion owners will be updated in due course. 

This is a blanket approach and applies to the UK and European Approvals.  The Secretary will be in touch with her European Counterparts in the coming days.  The office will not have further answers at this stage.
