Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II

The Shire Horse Society is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our wonderful Patron, Her Majesty The Queen.
With over seventy years on the throne, and as the longest-reigning monarch, Her Majesty dedicated her life to serving our country and people, including the many charities, one of which was the Shire Horse Society for which we will be forever grateful.
Her Majesty visited the National Shire Horse Show at Peterborough to celebrate the Society’s Centenary.
A truly wonderful lady, the Shire Horse Society is thankful to have had Her Majesty as our Patron and sends their sincere and deepest condolences to members of the Royal family on this very sad day.
Thank you for your enduring and impeccable service. May you Rest in Peace Ma'am.
