The McNeil Family British Ridden Heavy Horse of the Year Final
Sunday 10th October – NEC, Birmingham
Eight Shire horses will line up in the final of the Ridden Heavy Horse of the Year, along with five Clydesdales and one Suffolk.
The champion in 2019, was Shire horse, Melindwr Lady Olwen who has once again qualified for the final.
The Shire Horse Society plans to live stream the event via Facebook throughout the day, technology permitting!
Congratulations to all those who have qualified their horses and we hope you all have a great day in representing the Shire, Clydesdale and Suffolk horse breeds.

Cotebrook Sgurr Alasdair owned by J Monaghan and G McClorey. Rider: Gemma McClorey. Qualified at Stoneleigh Horse Show
Elian Lady May The Second owned by Chris Wilton. Rider: Tracey Wilton. Qualfied at Stoneleigh Horse Show
Oaklodge Endeavour owned by Kurt Manders. Rider: Nicola Manders. Qualified at The Norfolk Horse Show
Ringston Rueben owned and ridden by Karen Talbot. Qualified at Garstang Show
HIllmoor Lucky Lady owned and ridden by Sarah Warburton. Qualified at Stoneleigh Horse Show
Melindwr Lady Olwen owned by Montserrat Sport Horse. Rider: Abigail Gresty. Qualified at Three Counties Equine Show
Walton Express owned by Neil Andrews. Rider: Caroline Eagle. Qualified at National Shire Horse Show
Westfield Calendar Girl owned by Lindy Winship. Rider: Ryan Anderson. Qualified at BSHA National Championship Show
